The High School Students César offers young cinema-lovers the opportunity to assert their views on French film production, to express and defend their tastes.
It was created in 2019, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education and Youth.
For its second edition, 81 classes from general, technological and professional high schools took part in the vote among the 7 films nominated for the César for Best Film.
The 2020 High School Students César was awarded to the film HORS NORMES, directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache.

Voting takes place on the same modalities as the second round of voting of the members of the Academy: it opened on Monday 3 February and closed on Friday 28 February 2020 at 4pm, thus avoiding any possible influence between the two electoral bodies.
