The César & Techniques Trophy rewards a company in the technical film industry in France, for its ability to highlight an event or development strategy that is particularly synergistic with the film industry, or a particular contribution to film creation during the past year.
POLY SON POST PRODUCTION and its President, Nicolas Naegelen, received the 2019 César & Techniques Trophy, following a vote by the 1,037 technicians eligible for one of the five 2019 Technical César and the 233 production and post-production directors of the films eligible for the 2019 César for Best Film.
A company specialising in image and sound editing and sound post-production for cinema, it wins this trophy for the second time.

The site, located in the heart of Paris, offers a wide range of mixing auditoriums, two native Dolby Atmos & DTS:X Immersive Cinemas and two other Immersives for Mastering. All are controlled by Avid S6-M40 control surfaces or by a Harrison MPC5D console. PS recording, foley and sound editing studios round out the offer.

Created in 2000, Poly Son has become over the years a post-production company for films ranging from the management of rushes to DCP through all stages of technical and artistic creation:
We edit, sound, post synchronize, calibrate and mix feature films, documentaries and TV series.
Some fifty films released in 2018, eligible for Césars, have been screened, in whole or in part, at Poly Son.

Located in the greater Paris area, in the heart of the Val de Marne’s audiovisual centre on more than 6 hectares, the Studios de Bry include 5,600 m2 of shooting sets, a 6,000 m2 backlot and 24,000 m2 of logistical structure dedicated to cinema, TV series, advertising…
Facilities and services: 8 sets from 300 to 1100 m2 equipped / walkways, pits and cyclos; 4000 m2 of construction workshops for set construction, carpentry, locksmithing, painting, costumes / upholstery; Decorating / production offices; HMC dressing rooms, actors; 2000 m2 of deco /prod storage; Set machinery / lighting structures, towers; Catering; Parking.

TRI TRACK SN
Founded in 1979 by Catherine Leygonie, a well-known set manager, Tri Track was one of the first structures in France to offer producers a global service including all the stages of the post-synchronisation of a film, from the determination screening to the calligraphy and the calligraphy. In 2006, Florence Abiven, with 15 years of experience in sound post-production, took over the company and began the transition from DD1500 to ProTools and from traditional rythmo tape to Mosaic software. Since 2012, Audrey Abiven has continued this transformation and has developed new offers such as the annotation of dialogue records on iPad, ADR detection, or the full support of additional actors.
The Technical Industries Committee makes a pre-selection of French technical services companies from among all those that have worked on at least one of the films eligible for the César for Best Film and have responded to the call for applications sent to them.
The winning company is then elected by all the technicians eligible for the five Technical Césars of the year as well as by the production and post-production directors of the films eligible for the César for Best Film.
Voting is carried out by secure electronic means, under the control of a bailiff, open at the end of December and closed at 7pm on the day of the César & Techniques Evening.
It pre-selects the French technical services companies that will compete for the César & Techniques Trophy or the Innovation Award, from among all those that have worked on at least one of the films eligible for the César for Best Film and that have responded to the calls for applications that have been sent to all of these companies.
